National Title Shows Information

At the 2025 AGM the future of the society's involvement with HOY was debated and a decision to no longer run the section was made. The ongoing cost and the fact that less than 15% of the membership responses were in favor of the section were the driving factors of this decision.

We will hold 2 national titles - one in the South Island and one in the North Island.

The Committee feel it is important we are able to increase the uptake of the section by being able to offer sponsorship to many shows to maximize benefits to all members.

Qualification for North Island title will be:

Must have won 3 firsts in a class which counts for championship ride off ( ie rider and turn out don't) 2 res champions  or 1 champion.  In the 12 months prior and including the show.

Riders must also enter the relevant lead up classes at the show

Title will be judged on work out which will be available at least 1 month prior.

North island riders note the qualification is different to the south island as we take into account the larger number of shows available to the north island riders  at this point in time.
