High Points 2021/22

HOY Show information

14 December 2022

Woohoo holidays are just around the corner, so we thought we’d take a screen break!

Here’s what you need to know about:

The backlog of passports and memberships has been cleared today and we’ll do one more sweep of the inbox next week but won’t be processing anymore memberships or registrations from the 22 Dec until the 9 Jan 2023. If you have a show early in the New Year and haven’t yet registered yourself and your horse, get your forms in this week!

Will all continue to be monitored lightly over the holidays but if you have urgent queries please mark your posts, messages or emails as such or get in touch with Leeanne Morrison directly.

On behalf of the NZEPS Committee we hope you all have a really safe and happy holiday and a successful New Year!

The qualification criteria for this season is back to the status quo (pre lock downs) of One Champion or Two Reserve Champion placings at a HOYQ show, plus attendance at at least two HOYQ shows in the season leading up to LHOY.

If, for reasons beyond our control we see that show are again being cancelled as they have been the last couple of years, we will look at reinstating an alternative qualification system (if HOY is still running). Fingers cross it doesn't come to that.

If you are eligible to carry over your qualification from last season you still need to show proof of attendance at at least two HOYQ shows this season. (Screen shot of entry online is acceptable).

If you have any questions please let us know.

We're starting to receive membership applications and registrations for the season, yay exciting that must mean spring is almost here!

Just a reminder that both the mount and the rider need to be registered for the 2022/2023 season for any qualifications towards HOY to count, so make sure you register in time for the first shows of the season to avoid disappointment.

To make it even easier you can do it all online!

Here are the links to the [Rider] Membership Application form and the Horse Registration forms on our website:

If you've already done yours thank you, all the best for what's ramping up to be a full and proper showing season at long last!

15 September 2021

Good evening all,  Please note that we will no-longer be processing  online forms that have been submitted via the website but not paid for or ones that have indicated that internet banking would be used as a payment method as this is just adding extra admin headaches at the back end trying to match things up.
You can still register horses and join as members online but you just need to pay at the same time and any forms that have been abandoned at the payments page stage will not be processed.
You can still also register and pay the old way and use internet banking to pay by downloading our manual forms from the website downloads page and  posting or email them to and using the account details stated on the forms.

Remember riders need to be fully paid up members of the society as well as their mounts fully registered if they wish to have any wins count toward HOY qualification criteria.  There are separate forms for membership, and registration of horse/pony.  There are also two options for horse/pony registration, either new horse/pony or renewal of previously registered horse/pony.

The HOY 2022 Qualification Certificate is available here to download

Don't forget to enter out highpoints competition - details on highpoints page (link above).  If you haven't entered yet but are already registered you can still enter online.

Also, don't forget to send any results to Dawn to collate -

Thanks for reading and good luck for your season!
